NIS Ltd. Investigative Field Supervisors are responsible for the direct supervision of the daily activities of surveillance/investigation teams. Our field supervisors will directly supervise four to five individual investigators each day. Of course, senior staff with many years of experience and credentials will be subject to less direct supervision. However, they are ultimately accountable and required to provide a daily report to their supervisor. Field supervisors are, in turn, directly accountable to Robert Loncaric, Director of Field Operations. Hiring standards for the position of Field Supervisor are as follows:
- Minimum seven years of investigative experience, with concentration on insurance-related investigations, surveillance, field services, and litigation support.
- Minimum of two years post-secondary education.
- No criminal record or record of police investigations.
- Preference to candidates with secondary language skills.
- Preference to candidates with insurance profession experience.
- Good driving record.
- Good financial and credit history.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Excellent legal knowledge and legal research skills.
- Excellent knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
- Good community reputation and high standards of integrity.
