Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team for Tuesdays (1-7pm), Alt.Fridays (930-230pm) and Alt.Saturdays (8-2pm, never on long weekends). The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting (Level 2) and possess knowledge of various dental procedures, IPAC protocols, HARP certification, software programs and updated with their CPR certification. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is required
-Level 2 certification
-Taken and passed the NDAEB Exam
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 17.0 per week
