This is a Base salary + commission position
We are seeking an energetic and motivated HVAC Residential Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. You will be selling Furnaces, AC units, ERV/HRV and water Softeners In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our residential customer base by showcasing our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. Your enthusiasm for sales combined with your technical knowledge will help homeowners understand the benefits of modern HVAC systems, leading to increased customer satisfaction and business growth. Duties
- Engage with prospective residential clients through outside sales efforts
- Marketing strategies with key suppliers and existing equipment dealerships
- Generate a Routine Maintenance plan for current and future customers for new and existing equipment
- Customer follow up after installation complete
- Coordinate with installers, materials, products, measurements etc...
- Maintain accurate spread sheet of sales/projects for management review prior to submitting payroll
- Appropriate dress for customer homes
- Self lead generation
- Flexibility in hours to accommodate some customers available hours
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to educate homeowners on HVAC options, emphasizing energy efficiency and cost savings
- Manage a designated territory by developing strategic plans for lead generation, account management, and business development to maximize sales opportunities
- Build strong relationships with customers through personalized service, understanding their needs, and providing tailored HVAC solutions that meet their specific requirements
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and analyze market trends for targeted marketing efforts
- Negotiate pricing, financing options, and service packages with customers to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Upsell additional products or services during the sales process to enhance revenue and provide comprehensive solutions for homeowners
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside retail sales with a focus on technical or product-based selling
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and lead generation activities independently
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with outstanding customer service abilities to foster trust and long-term relationships
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently while explaining technical details in an accessible manner
- Strong analysis skills for assessing customer needs and market opportunities to develop effective sales strategies, Social media and ad spend targeting
