Job Summary
We are seeking a concrete labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks related to concrete construction and at times to include: assisting carpenters, assisting placing and finishing concrete, assisting in excavation and other tasks that the project may require. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a regular working schedule - being reliable.
- Showing up to projects on time and ready to work.
- Preparation of construction sites by cleaning, measuring and setting up forms.
- Assist with forming, pouring and finishing concrete.
- Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools.
- Assist tradespeople
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Preform general labour duties.
Skills
- Previous construction or concrete experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to preform physically demanding work (lifting 50+lbs)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license.
- Use of PPE
