Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Experience in industrial cleaning, hotel, or custodial services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, to ensure they meet high cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as per hotel policies.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy environment.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
- Assist with laundry services when required to ensure timely availability of clean linens.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and fellow staff members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, hotel, hospitality, or custodial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.
