Role Summary
Reporting to the Superintendent, our Maintenance Crew plays a key role in daily course care and turf management. From sunrise mowing to fine-tuning course details, you’ll help create the playing conditions our golfers love — all while working with a supportive, hardworking team.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are exactly the same, but here’s what you can expect:
- Mowing tee boxes, fairways, approaches, rough, and greens
- Daily bunker maintenance, course setup, and waste management
- Operating utility equipment (gator, Sand Pro, tractors, mowers, and more)
- Assisting with irrigation, including hand-watering greens
- Changing hole locations and setting up tees
- Tree work, including chainsaw operation and debris removal
- Maintaining clubhouse lawns with push mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Supporting landscaping with general duties
- Following and supporting all safety standards outlined in the PEI Occupational Health & Safety Act, General Regulations, and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System
- Identifying and reporting safety concerns to management
- Pitching in wherever needed — we’re a team-first crew
What You Bring
- 1+ year of landscaping or turf maintenance experience (an asset, but we’re willing to train the right person)
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability for early mornings, weekdays, and rotating weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
The Details
- Wage: Starting at $19.00/hour, with higher pay based on previous experience
- Schedule: 44 hours per week
- 8 hours Monday – Friday with a shorter shift on either Saturday or Sunday
- *End Date: Must be able to work until October 31, 2026!*
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
