Responsibilities/Duties:
- Apply protective coatings to metal surfaces, misc. parts and structure
- Knowledge of chemical application techniques
- Selecting and mixing appropriate paint
- Able to apply coatings per mil specifications
- Prepare units for painting
- Must have experience using an airless, pressure ports and cup guns
- Knowledge of Polyurethane coatings, Epoxy coatings, Alkyd Enamel coatings, etc.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect surfaces for quality assurance post-painting
MUST BE LOCATED IN OR NEAR CALGARY, ALBERTA

Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint using spray equipment to ensure even coverage and finish.
- Conduct quality checks on finished work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using pressure pots, air less and cup gun painting equipment a MUST.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the painting process.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
