ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support our custom manufacturing and resistance welding operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and production machinery in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced working within manufacturing environments with minimal supervision.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain resistance welding equipment and production machinery
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
- Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
- Support equipment changeovers, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency
- Maintain maintenance records and complete required documentation
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures
- Support general facility and equipment maintenance as needed
- Travel required to various locations
OUR OFFER
- Pay rate: $30-$35 based on experience
- Daytime Shift – Monday to Friday (This position may require flexibility due to production demands)
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification in industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Maintenance mechanic experience , with demonstrated leadership in maintenance supervision within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and manage preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Competent in troubleshooting and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and service documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Experience within custom manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience working with resistance welding equipment considered a strong asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
