We are a Property Management firm who is looking for a loyal and hardworking individual to fill its full time and permanent Office Administrator role at our Dartmouth office location. If you are the type of person who is a self-starter and likes interacting with people this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete accounts receivable process, including rental collections, and reporting of all rental income
- Represent the company at RTB hearings
- Administer on site work order process and liaise with maintenance staff and tenants to ensure work is being done in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with leasing units (includes promotions and showings to prospective tenants)
- Ensuring tenant compliance with lease agreements
- Deal with Tenant questions and concerns and promote good tenant relations
- Creating, updating and maintaining administrative reports on a timely basis
- Issue and manage notices and letters to tenants (including NTQ’s)
- Oversee the filing process and ensure documents are stored and organized properly
- Be responsible for ensuring all office policies, procedures and operations are conducted effectively.
Qualification Requirements:
- Previous relevant experience in a Property Management role or similar
- Previous relevant experience in dealing with Nova Scotia RTB
- College Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
