The Sector Supervisor plays a key leadership role, overseeing staff members working at a group of Alberta Health Services | Health Shard Services (AHS/HSS) parking locations and ensuring smooth operations, and exceptional customer service across all assigned sites.
This role directly supports frontline AHS Parking Compliance Ambassadors, and Customer Service Representatives, maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused parking operation across multiple regions.
Travel & Work Area
This position requires frequent travel to AHS parking locations, including:
- Edmonton and Area.
- Grande Prairie
- Fort McMurray
Travel includes staff training, site audits, operational support, and client meetings.
A valid Alberta Class 5 licence and clean driver abstract are required.
What You Will Be Doing
Administration
- Manage, through support focused efforts, parking-related staff members assigned to AHS parking related roles.
- Respond promptly and accurately to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with AHS and Precise ParkLink policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Attend client meetings with the Operations Manager.
- Review monthly staff timesheets and staffing reports provided to AHS
- Oversee incident investigations (injuries, vehicle damage, etc.).
- Ensure Accounting receives accurate monthly invoicing information.
- Ensure all staff operate in alignment with Precise ParkLink (West) Ltd.'s Vision, Mission, and Values, consistently demonstrating a strong “lead-by-example” leadership approach
Operations
- Establish and maintain operational procedures for each AHS site.
- Analyze workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate daily with Mobile Parking Enforcement and Parking Ambassadors.
- Support enforcement activities and ensure proper violation protocols are followed.
- Confirm accurate and consistent completion of incident reports (including Kintone).
- Monitor lot conditions for cleanliness, accessibility, and safety; coach staff as needed.
- Provide on-site training for field staff in customer service, wayfinding, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Oversee revenue and operational audits with Managers.
- Coordinate with AHS on hang tags, special access passes, and operational changes.
- Support strategies to maximize revenue across all operations.
- Periodically assume frontline duties as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations and fulfillment of all client requirements.
Human Resources
- Supervise and support Mobile Parking Enforcement and Parking Ambassador teams.
- Ensure hiring requirements and staff credentials are properly maintained.
- Validate:
- Alberta Class 5 licence
- 5-year driver’s abstract (clear, within 30 days)
- 3-year insurance experience letter
- Criminal Record Check
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching or corrective action when required.
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing of field staff.
- Approve and submit payroll for all assigned staff.
Training & Competency Development
Ensure all frontline staff complete required and recommended training, including:
- AHS Policies & Procedures
- Customer Service Orientation
- Kintone Incident Reporting
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
- First Aid & CPR
- Conflict Management & Resolution
- Precise ParkLink operational training for CSR, Parking Ambassador, and Mobile Enforcement roles
You may deliver training modules and verify completion for all assigned personnel.
Required Qualifications
- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Experience supervising multi-site operations (parking, security, facilities, or customer service preferred).
- Strong understanding of P&L, operational metrics, and budgeting.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 licence and clean 5-year abstract.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and legally work in Canada.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to manage escalations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced skill in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to coach and lead diverse frontline teams.
- Monday–Friday availability with flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends.
- Ability to travel regularly across multiple regions.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (Can be incorporated as part of onboarding)
- First Aid and CPR (Can be incorporated as part of onboarding)
- Conflict Management and Resolution Training (Can be incorporated as part of onboarding)
- Proven “lead by example” mindset and work history
Nice to Have
- College Diploma
- Experience with AHS parking operations and policies.
- Experience issuing parking violations or supervising enforcement teams.
- Training in NVCI, First Aid/CPR, conflict resolution, or customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of parking equipment, access control systems, or lot operations.
