PSW/Nurse's Aide - PERMANENT PART-TIME

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be in good physical condition and able to meet the physical demands of this position. Successful candidates must participate in and successfully pass a Work Abilities Check arranged by the employer prior to commencing employment.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the role of the PSW in providing competent and respectful care while meeting the physical and emotional needs of each Sister/Resident
- Have working knowledge of dementia care and behaviours
- Preference will be given to candidates with positive attitude, pleasant personality, dignified appearance and behaviour, good work habits and work well in team setting.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, able to follow instructions.

- Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
- Good time management skills are required.
- Good punctuality and attendance record are required.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.
- Bilingualism (English/French) and customer service experience is an asset.
EDUCATION:
- Current PSW Certificate, 2nd Year Nursing Student or equaivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- PSW
- HSW
- Long Term Care Facility, Retirement Home or equivalent.

Pay: $20.90 per hour
