Overview
Join our team as a Deli Food Packer and Cashier and become a vital part of our fast-paced Ukrainian and homestyle food manufacturing environment! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing deli products with precision and care, ensuring that every item meets our high standards for quality. Your energetic approach will help keep production flowing smoothly, supporting our commitment to delivering fresh, delicious products to customers. This work environment is team focused, fast paced and requires moderate to heavy lifting. Must be available Monday to Friday 9 am -5 pm, occasionally Saturday 10-3 pm.
Duties
- Carefully pack deli food items using appropriate packaging materials to maintain freshness
- Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment safely to assist with packaging processes
- Assemble packaging components and prepare product displays for shipment or storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in food manufacturing, restaurant or retail environment is an asset
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work efficiently under deadlines
Pay: $16.40-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
