Phoenix Restorations Ltd in Coquitlam is currently seeking Carpenter to join their team. This position is primarily responsible for performing general construction work. You will provide prompt and professional service to all customer/clients, maintain excellent levels of quality workmanship and a high standard of customer service and of personal grooming and appearance.
Must have own tools.
Duties Include:
- Installing baseboards, door casings, doors etc.
- Painting skills are an assest
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Scheduler/Dispatchers or Lead
- On a daily basis, submit all accurately completed legible paperwork and have all supporting documents in order.
- Maintain regular communication with the Scheduler/Dispatchers
- Follow all Health and Safety Policies and Guidelines
- Attend all meetings and training as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Valid BC Driver’s license
- Clear Criminal Record check as it pertains to work
- Team player with a positive attitude having strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable work environment
- Knowledge of the restoration industry an asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to deal with customers, clients, and co-workers in sometimes stressful and high-pressure situations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations is an asset
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, having a ½ hour lunch
