Job Description:
Operates, monitors, and maintains boilers, engines, turbines, and other stationary mechanical equipment in industrial, commercial, or institutional facilities. Performs routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Maintains records and follows all safety and regulatory procedures.
Requirements / License:
- Valid 3rd Class Stationary Engineer Certificate issued by the provincial or federal authority (e.g., Technical Standards & Safety Authority in Ontario).
- Knowledge of boiler operations, pressure systems, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, perform basic repairs, and operate monitoring/control systems.
Work Environment: Food Industries.
