Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time) to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling
- Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive presentation of products
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure efficient transaction processing
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or technical sales preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform product demonstrations and upsell effectively
- Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Phone etiquette and organizational skills are essential for customer interactions
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technology sales is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed
