Mississauga company near Dixie/Meyerside seeking digital prepress/press operator. This role collaborates regularly with customer service staff on production matters and will be cross trained in our Finishing and Prepress Departments. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs related to production.
Must have experience operating a digital press (i.e. Mark Andy, HP Indigo, Konica Minolta, Mimaki, Canon, Xerox or similar). Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office, and colour adjusting on press are needed.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our label manufacturing team. This role involves operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments, with mechanical and Adobe Illustrator knowledge and experience.
Duties
· Operate digital label press machinery to produce printed products according to specifications and quality standards
· Set up, calibrate, and maintain digital printing equipment for optimal performance
· Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
· Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment
· Follow safety protocols and adhere to all operational procedures during production processes
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills, work independently, a "can do attitude", and excellent English communication skills. Equipment training will be provided. This role is essential for maintaining high production standards and ensuring timely delivery of quality printed materials. Candidates should be proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
