About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership for a respected nonprofit organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee financial operations, support organizational planning, and partner with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, payroll, and compliance.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and the Board.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and operational processes.
- Provide strategic financial advice to support organizational decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls.
- Experience supporting executive leadership and Board reporting is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
