Job Description
Responsible for processing computer registration of all Urgent Care and Ambulatory Care patients, reception, telephone answering, receiving, following up and investigating problems related to patient hospital coverage, management of bill payments and receipts for all patients and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Grade 12 Business and Commerce
-
Medical terminology certificate/course required
-
Medical Office Assistant Certificate/Diploma required
-
Minimum of two years recent related experience
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
-
Word Processing and computer experience; Meditech and Windows
-
40 to 45/wpm typing skills
-
Previous ward clerk/clerical associate experience

Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record

Must demonstrate Osler Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration

May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Currently Days, Evenings, Nights, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $26.31 per hour
Maximum: $28.49 per hour
