Job description:
Beyond Auto Protection is a premium automotive protection shop based in Vancouver, specializing in paint protection film (PPF) installations.
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced PPF Installer who takes pride in meticulous work and wants to grow with a high-end automotive appearance brand.
What You’ll Do
- Install paint protection film (PPF) on vehicle panels including hoods, bumpers, mirrors, fenders, rocker panels, and full-body coverage
- Perform precise bulk and pre-cut PPF installations with clean edge wrapping and finishing
- Prepare vehicle surfaces through proper washing, decontamination, and panel prep
- Perform post-install quality inspections to ensure clean edges, no contamination, silvering, or lifting
- Assist with film adjustments, removals, and touch-ups when needed
- Maintain tools and equipment including heat guns, squeegees, blades, plotters, and cutting systems
- Keep the workspace organized, clean, and efficient
- Follow shop procedures to ensure consistent high-quality installations
Requirements / Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional PPF installation experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex curves, edges, and full-body applications
- Ability to trim film cleanly and minimize stretch marks, bubbles, contamination, and lift lines
- Knowledge of proper surface preparation and premium film handling techniques
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Comfortable working on luxury, exotic, and performance vehicles
- Experience with premium films such as XPEL, STEK, SunTek, or 3M
- Valid work authorization in Canada
