Role Summary:
The analyst will support front-office trading and financing activities within TFM (Beta, Collateral & Liquidity Management or Trading). The role focuses on coordinating with Technology & Operations teams, supporting trade workflows, validating reporting and PnL, and resolving operational issues with Middle Office and Technology partners. This individual will help ensure efficient execution, strong operational controls, and effective front-to-back process management across trading and financing activities.

Own the coordination of front-office requirements with Technology & Operations, ensuring business needs across TFM are clearly captured, prioritized, and progressed.
Track delivery against requirements, incident monit oring , and ensure enhancements are implemented, tested, and aligned with front-office workflows.
Actively support traders by reviewing and validating trade workflows and order execution processes.
Provide oversight and challenge where needed to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with desk-specific trading and financing strategies.
Produce daily reporting, including PnL and TCA reconciliation, ensuring outputs are accurate and validated against internal records.
Partner with downstream teams to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues in a timely manner, and maintain integrity of reported results.
Act as the primary point of contact with Middle Office to identify, investigate, and resolve booking breaks and trade discrepancies.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution while driving improvements to reduce recurring issues and strengthen end-to-end process integrity.
Core Qualifications (Education and Experience)
1 - 3 years of experience , preferabl y in a trading assistant, middle office, treasury function
Undergraduate degree in relevant field
An advanced degree or certification (CFA) is an asset
Strong and demonstrated interest in finance/investment management/capital markets
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates a n understanding of public markets, including trade lifecycle, funding structures, and cash and financing flows across portfolios.
Experience in Treasury Operations, Middle Office, or Trading Assistant functions is considered an asset, particularly where there is direct interaction with front-office teams and market counterparties.
K nowledge of public market technologies and workflows , with experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing operational or technology-driven solutions to support trading and financing activities are an asset .
Brings a high level of attention to detail and internal control s mindset, with the ability to validate, challenge, and improve processes without losing sight of broader market context.
Exhibits an inquisitive and commercially aware mindset, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple concurrent workstreams with a keen focus on risk mitigation .
Prior experience in audit or accounting environments is beneficial but should be complemented by exposure to investment, trading, or capital markets activities.
S ome programming skills (preferably Python) and experience with extracting and working with large datasets would be an asset .
