Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented UAV Pilot to join our growing team as a Test Pilot (Part-Time). In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team to safely operate and test various UAV systems for R&D, quality control, and operational validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate UAVs for testing and inspection activities
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure system reliability and performance
- Assist with UAV testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system performance
- Support field deployments and service projects as needed
Qualifications
- Prior UAV piloting experience (hobbyist or professional)
- Strong interest in UAV technology, robotics, or aviation
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for projects when required
- Valid Transport Canada Pilot Certificate (Basic or Advanced)
- Minimum 200+ hours of flight experience, including capability in manual FPV flight
Nice to Have
- Experience with industrial inspection or robotics
- Familiarity with UAV regulations and frameworks in Canada
