Midha’s Furniture Gallery is an established local furniture business with multiple locations across Ontario, including Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, and our new London location.
We are currently looking to hire a motivated and experienced Sales Associate to join our team at our London location. The ideal candidate should have strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer needs and help them find the right products.
Previous experience in the furniture industry is an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate if they have a strong sales background, a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional shopping experience
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable furniture products
- Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service
- Learn our product selection, suppliers, pricing, and promotions
- Follow up with customers and assist in closing sales
- Work with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and product inquiries confidently
What You Need to Succeed:
- Strong sales skills and a goal-oriented attitude
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and remember product details
- Team player who can work well with colleagues
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Willingness to learn about furniture, mattresses, suppliers, and product features
- Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Sales: 1 year preferred
- Retail Sales: 1 year preferred
- Furniture Sales: Preferred, but not required
