About the Organization
The Disability Claims Advocacy Clinic Inc. (DCAC) was established in 1998 and is a nationally respected advocacy organization. We provide case management and advocacy services to individuals applying for or appealing denied Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Quebec Pension Plan (QPP) disability benefits.
Our work supports access to justice for Canadians with disabilities, particularly individuals who face barriers to representation. DCAC has successfully assisted hundreds of clients across Canada.

Position Summary
DCAC is seeking fully bilingual (English/French) Disability Advocates for permanent full‑time or part‑time positions. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical and communication skills who are passionate about disability advocacy and working with vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with CPP and QPP disability applications and appeals
- Collect and manage medical, vocational, and supporting documentation
- Provide accurate, timely information to clients throughout the claims and appeals process
- Follow up with clients while decisions are pending
- Conduct in‑depth client interviews to understand functional limitations and barriers to employment
- Prepare clients for navigating the CPP disability process
- Maintain detailed and accurate case records while meeting deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken, written, and reading proficiency required)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Demonstrated empathy and professionalism
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self‑motivated and results‑oriented
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong typing skills
- Medical terminology certification OR relevant education/experience in a health‑related field
- Clean criminal record (required)
Assets (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in disability management or disability claims
- Knowledge of CPP, QPP, or other social benefits programs
- Experience working with vulnerable or marginalized populations
- Experience or education related to mental health
- Understanding of Administrative Law
- Demonstrated advocacy experience
- Background in healthcare, social services, or legal support roles

Pay: $58,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
