What You’ll Bring to the Guest Experience
As a Bartender, you are the host of the bar, the guide to the cocktail experience, and a key part of the Nisi atmosphere.
Guest Connection & Hospitality
- Welcome every bar and lounge guest with immediate warmth and energy
- Create personal connections through authentic conversation and service
- Learn regular guests’ names, favourite drinks, and preferences
- Guide guests through cocktails, wines, beers, and Greek-inspired beverage pairings
- Create memorable celebration moments and elevated late-night experiences
- Anticipate guest needs before they ask
- Maintain a polished, engaging, and inviting bar presence
Cocktail Craft & Beverage Knowledge
- Prepare cocktails, wines, beer, coffee, and premium beverages with consistency and care
- Follow all cocktail specifications, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Tell the story behind signature cocktails, Greek wines, and premium spirits
- Make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Maintain deep knowledge of:
- cocktail builds
- spirits
- beer styles
- wine pairings
- after-dinner drinks
- espresso martinis and signature features
Operational Excellence
- Manage bar rail, lounge, and service tickets with speed and precision
- Enter orders into the POS with 100% accuracy
- Maintain a spotless, fully stocked, guest-ready bar
- Perform opening and closing bar procedures including garnish prep, stock, glassware, and cash-out
- Monitor waste, breakage, and beverage consistency
- Support service staff with efficient ticket flow
- Handle guest payments and bar tabs accurately
Atmosphere & Team Energy
- Create a fun, elevated, and welcoming bar atmosphere
- Keep energy high during peak volume while staying calm and polished
- Support servers, hosts, and management during rushes
- Help shape the late-night guest experience
- Be flexible in supporting FOH needs beyond the bar when required

We’re searching for bartenders who bring:

- Passion for cocktails, wine, and hospitality
- Strong communication and storytelling ability
- Exceptional multitasking and composure under pressure
- High attention to cleanliness and detail

- Strong sales instincts and upselling confidence
- A desire to grow into bar leadership and training roles
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or strong serving experience preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Clover POS or similar is an asset
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local certification requirements
- Strong understanding of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to lift kegs, cases, and glass racks safely
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
