We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a cook . This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent serving skills, and experience in kitchen or restaurant environments . This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. We need someone who can work Friday and Saturday 7pm to 11pm which will include making burgers and appetizers only and Wednesday from 7 am to 3 pm will include breakfast and lunch.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and prepare menu items, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations and health codes diligently
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- Experience with meal preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for safety and quality assurance
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
