About the Role
We are seeking a confident, experienced Furniture Sales Associate to join our retail showroom team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong sales background, and is motivated by commission-based earnings and performance incentives.
You will be responsible for guiding customers through the furniture selection process, providing expert product knowledge, and closing sales in a professional and confident manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in the showroom
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable furniture solutions
- Present product features including materials, dimensions, pricing, and warranties
- Confidently close sales and achieve monthly targets
- Process payments, orders, and financing options
- Coordinate delivery arrangements with internal teams
- Maintain showroom presentation and product displays
- Provide excellent after-sales customer service and follow-ups
Requirements
- Previous sales experience required (retail, or similar field preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, persuasive, and target-driven personality
- Ability to work in a commission environment
- Basic math skills for pricing, discounts, and financing calculations
- Ability to stand and work on the showroom floor for extended periods
