Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Transporting goods safely in a professional manner to customers
- Following the delivery instructions provided by company dispatchers
- Maintain cleanliness of truck cab
- Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle
- Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
- Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks-ups and deliveries
- Ensure the security of all our customers equipment and products
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Obtaining customers Proof Of Delivery
- Promptly notifying dispatch of any pick-up/delivery issues
Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years old
- 2 years Verifiable driving experience as AZ driver
- Customer service experience
- A Valid Driver's License (AZ)
- Recent Driver Abstract and CVOR (within 30 days)
- Criminal Record Search (within 30 days)
- Punctuality and strong attention to details
- Insurance letter of experience
Wage
· $25.00/hr
Schedule
· Monday - Friday 6 am – 6 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
