Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and management. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of our organization and will involve working closely with various departments to provide insightful financial guidance.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights to management.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic recommendations based on financial data.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices including account analysis and reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
