We are currently seeking Certified Millwrights for a permanent full-time opportunity in Orillia. The client is looking to fill these positions ASAP.
Shift Schedule:
- 2 would be on a continental shift, straight days (7am-7pm)
- 2 would be on a continental shift, straight nights (7pm-7am)
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, adjustments and repairs on production and facilities equipment;
- Install, dismantle and overhaul machinery;
- Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors and breakdowns;
- Perform inspections, PMs and correct issues through workorder program in a timely manner;
- Operate machine tools including lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools etc;
- Housekeeping of maintenance area;
- Support other maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Relevant industrial experience required;
- Red Seal Millwright License;
- 5+ years with hands on repair and maintenance of machinery in high volume manufacturing environment;
- Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems;
- PLC knowledge and experience considered an asset;
- Ticketed skilled worker considered an asset;
- Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules;
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
- Proven ability to lead a task or project as well as take direction from others.
