Are you a skilled handyman and/or a carpenter with a passion for residential construction? Inverness Homes Inc. is looking for a jack-of-all-trades individual to join our team and work alongside our experienced Site Superintendent. This role is ideal for someone who can step in and support various tasks to help us complete high-quality apartment and home builds efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Assisting in all aspects of residential construction, from foundations to finishing
- Supporting site preparation and material handling
- Collaborating closely with the Site Superintendent to complete daily tasks
- Ensuring site safety and cleanliness are maintained
- Performing a variety of building tasks including carpentry, caulking, general repair, & detailing
- Taking initiative on tasks and maintaining high workmanship standards
- Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Who You Are
- Experienced in residential construction with a range of skills (carpentry, minor repairs, general labour, handyman work)
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
