Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Manage customer orders at the counter or drive-thru, taking payments accurately as a cashier
- Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with general restaurant maintenance
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards within the food industry
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle monetary transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and food safety practices
Pay: $18.25 per hour
