Location: Yonge & Bloor, Toronto
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Bartender to become part of our growing hospitality team. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, has strong beverage knowledge, and thrives in an upscale environment.
A minimum of 5 years of bartending experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of cocktails, wines, spirits, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by building rapport with customers and providing beverage recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
- Process orders and payments accurately using the restaurant POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Follow all alcohol service regulations, health standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar setup and end-of-day cleaning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, lounge, hotel, or cocktail bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, champagne, and premium spirits.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems.
- Smart Serve Certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
