Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Take orders from customers, ensuring correct food and drink delivery while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cashiering duties with precision and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures for beverages and related items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
