Overview
JPD Enterprises seeking a dedicated and hardworking Roughneck to join our Continuous Rod Rig Team. This role is vital to the safe and efficient rig process, requiring physical endurance, technical skills, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for Safety Concise and hard-working individuals who are motivated in obtaining a long lasting career in the oilfield service industry as a Continuous Rid Rig worker. This position offers opportunities for growth within the industry and hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of rig and related equipment
- Handle rigging tasks including lifting, securing, and positioning heavy components
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to execute plans efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Standard 1st Aid, H2s Alive, Common Safety Orientation, Fall Arrest is required (will train if needed)
- 5 ton Picker training would be ideal.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety procedures in an asset
- Strong understanding of oil & gas industry practices and safety standards is an asset
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving operational needs
