We are looking for a highly organized and dependable Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily catering logistics and deliveries throughout the GTA. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone proactive, works well independently, and can confidently make decisions under pressure.
The ideal candidate is an excellent problem-solver who thinks on their feet, has strong knowledge of downtown Toronto and the GTA, and can confidently adapt to changing schedules, traffic, and operational priorities.
Driving is a core responsibility of this role, and candidates should be comfortable spending a significant portion of their day on the road while coordinating logistics behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules and catering logistics
- Complete catering deliveries and transport food, equipment, rentals, and beverages to venues across Toronto & the GTA
- Dispatch and communicate with drivers to ensure timely, professional service
- Collaborate with kitchen and event teams to confirm order details, timelines, and delivery requirements
- Oversee packing, loading, and unloading to ensure all items are accurate, secure, and event-ready
- Troubleshoot delivery delays and operational challenges, making real-time decisions to keep events running smoothly
- Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and event inventory are clean, organized, and ready for service
- Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling coverage, and onboarding logistics team members
- Support beverage purchasing and ensure compliance with applicable delivery regulations
- Provide hands-on operational support wherever needed to ensure successful event execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, catering, event operations, or in a similar coordination role
- Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of daily operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with downtown Toronto & the GTA, and efficient route planning
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a professional, client-focused approach
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, loading, and unloading catering equipment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid Ontario G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, events, and weekends as needed
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
