Job Title: Building Operator

Our client is seeking a Building Operator to support the efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of building systems across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys working independently, troubleshooting building systems, and traveling between sites to ensure safe and reliable facility operations.
What's the Job?
- Travel regularly to multiple building sites to provide operational support and maintenance services.
- Monitor, operate, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify operational concerns, safety risks, and maintenance requirements.
- Perform daily checks on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, generators (DG sets), electrical panels, and other critical equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, alarms, and technical issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with facility teams, technicians, contractors, and vendors to resolve maintenance and operational concerns.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules across assigned sites.
- Maintain accurate equipment logs, inspection checklists, service records, and site visit reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and organizational standards.
- Support energy conservation initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to on-site maintenance teams when required.
What's Needed?
- ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related technical field preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or maintenance.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, generators, pumps, BMS, and general building services.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate corrective actions and maintenance activities effectively.
- Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently between multiple sites.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations.
