Senior HR Consultant (Part-Time)

As our client base continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced HR professional who can independently support clients and become a trusted extension of their leadership teams.
Position Summary
The Senior HR Consultant will provide both strategic and day-to-day HR support to a portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong client relationships.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing employee relations matters, supporting recruitment efforts, advising leaders, developing HR documentation, and serving as a primary HR contact for assigned clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned clients
- Advise leaders on employee relations and performance management matters
- Conduct workplace investigations and fact-finding activities
- Support recruitment, interviewing, and candidate selection
- Draft and update employee handbooks, policies, and HR documents
- Assist with benefits administration and employee leaves
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop performance review programs and employee development initiatives
- Provide guidance on employment standards and HR compliance requirements
- Attend client meetings and provide strategic HR recommendations
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Qualifications
- CHRP, CPHR, CHRL, PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent designation preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting multiple clients or business units is considered an asset
- Strong employee relations and investigation experience
- Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation
- Excellent written communication and policy drafting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience supporting U.S. employers is considered an asset

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
