We are looking for a Shop Manager for our Agriculture & Manufacturing Division to join our team!
SunShine Custom Farming LTD is looking for a highly organized, motivated, and professional individual to join our team as a Shop Manager overseeing both our Agricultural Service Shop and Manufacturing Shop.
At SunShine Custom Farming, we provide a wide range of custom farming services including but not limited to:
* Custom spraying
* Baling
* Straw sales
* Draglining manure
* Water pumping
* Vac truck pumping
These services require a large and diverse fleet of equipment, and we take great pride in keeping our equipment well maintained, reliable, and ready to go whenever our customers need us.
In addition to our agricultural operations, we also design and manufacture some of our own equipment built to our own specifications through our manufacturing division.
We are looking for a true leader — someone who is organized, knowledgeable, respectful, and works well with people. This role is focused on leadership, coordination, communication, and ensuring work is completed professionally and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Agricultural Shop Responsibilities
* Coordinate equipment servicing schedules with crew foremen
* Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on time
* Oversee equipment repairs and minimize downtime
* Maintain organization and efficiency within the shop
* Help ensure equipment is field-ready when needed
Manufacturing Shop Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate manufacturing project stages
* Ensure projects remain on schedule
* Maintain quality control standards
* Coordinate workflow and shop efficiency
* Work closely with fabrication and manufacturing staff
Overall Role
This position is not about doing all the work yourself — it is about ensuring the work gets done properly, professionally, and on time. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing operations efficiently, communicating clearly with staff, and leading both divisions effectively.
This individual will also work closely alongside our Parts Technician, who will help ensure the correct parts and materials arrive when needed.

* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Mechanical knowledge and understanding of agricultural equipment
* Strong communication and people skills
* Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and multiple projects
* Experience in agriculture, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or shop management is considered a major asset
* Self-motivated and dependable

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
