Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, coordinate communication, and ensure the smooth functioning of the office environment. This role requires excellent computer skills, strong organizational abilities, and a professional demeanor to handle front desk responsibilities and support various departments effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering calls
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for Organization
- Work with our Customs Broker to handle tariff issues
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal staff
- Assist with appointment scheduling
- Handle general clerical duties, including sending needed information to our bookkeeper.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of information
- Support administrative projects as needed to improve office efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Experience with Quickbooks online would be an asset
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new technology as it happens
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Experience with front desk operations and general office management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in bookkeeping is a plus
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
