Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining HVAC duct systems in commercial and residential facilities. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. The technician will ensure that air quality standards are met and that clients receive exceptional service through thorough cleaning and maintenance of ductwork.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to clean HVAC ducts effectively.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of commercial and residential duct systems, including removing debris, mold, and dust buildup.
- Operate heavy-duty equipment safely to ensure efficient cleaning processes.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding the scope of work, progress, and completion of services.
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes.
- Assist with other custodial or maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience working with HVAC systems or duct cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during service interactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly and work in physically demanding environments.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
