Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality acupuncture treatments, promote patient well-being, and contribute to holistic health care. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical environment. Prior hospital experience and familiarity with patient care are highly valued.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine suitable acupuncture treatment plans
- Perform acupuncture procedures safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols and medical standards
- Monitor patient responses during treatments and adjust techniques as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and health maintenance strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques and related medical knowledge through ongoing education
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as a Registered Acupuncturist in accordance with provincial regulations
- Prior experience working in clinical setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure patients effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards
Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
