Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner required
- Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience considered an asset
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3–6 month contract (with possibility of extension)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Nurse Practitioners are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide primary and ongoing medical care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose acute and chronic conditions and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support chronic disease management and preventative care initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation
- Provide education and clinical support to residents, families, and staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility needs, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Experience in Long-Term Care or geriatric care considered a strong asset
- Experience managing complex and chronic conditions preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records is an asset
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently required
