We are looking to hire Yard Loader Operator/Labourer, to be based in Slave Lake, AB.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Load gravel and customer trucks, including block loading operations
- Fill gravel and sandbags and maintain adequate inventory levels
- Perform concrete drum chipping and assist with block mould pours and removal
- Load and remove snow as required
- Maintain aggregate piles and concrete aggregate inventory
- Conduct inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Must be Physically fit to perform manual labour and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A valid Class 5 or 3 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Ability to work overtime, as needed.
