We’re looking for a Brewery & Grounds Worker to support daily operations across the brewery and property from June to the end of September. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on manual tasks, learning new skills, and working independently. You’ll be assisting our small team with brewery tasks like deliveries, the packaging of beer, and cleaning, alongside spending time outdoors doing groundswork, foraging, and harvesting.
This seasonal role is 30 hours a week with the possibility to transition into a 15-20 part time role in October for over the winter support. The ability to continue work into the winter months is an asset but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Delivering beer across Toronto and the GTA weekly
- Weekly groundskeeping and basic property maintenance
- Work in the small fruit orchard and assist with harvesting and foraging ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the brewery, including keg washing
- Assist on the packaging line, including canning and labelling
About You
- Comfortable with both indoor and outdoor, hands-on work
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
- Able to operate zero-turn lawnmower and other landscaping equipment
- Curious and eager to learn about brewery and farm practices
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years or older
- Must be able to lift 90lbs kegs repetitively
- SmartServe certification required
- Clean G driving record (3 year driving history required)
- Previous experience in a brewery, farm, or similar hands-on environment is an asset
