PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting to the Research Team Leader, the Bid Coordinator (Data Entry Researcher) is responsible for performing the following duties and undertaking the following responsibilities in a professional manner.
It is a full-time position that is onsite at our offices in North York. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Maintain and update bookmarks for all Public Sector Organizations in the Municipalities, Health Sector and Education Sectors’ procurement page on websites across Canada and USA
2. Research daily bid opportunities from assigned websites, autodownload and hard copy sources and post it accurately and timely on the Biddingo.com system.
3. Update database of Public Sector Organizations as required, to ensure all relevant contact information is correct
4. Understand procurement process, industry categories and how assigned sources relate to one another
5. Become familiar with the Biddingo system to be able to better assist Buyers and comfortably trouble shoot issues, perform customer service to buyers
6. Meet number of bids required posted to meet team goals
7. Assist in updating team-maintained spreadsheets / reports
8. Become familiar with posting bid results / document takers
9. Understand bid approval process to confidently participate in approving bids / addendum / awards
10. Encouraged to provide ideas contributing to improvement of processes
11. Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time
