Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a local experienced Residential Service Plumber at SMR Plumbing & Heating. The Service Plumber will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate must have experience interpreting blueprints and plumbing codes to effectively select, install, and maintain plumbing systems.
The Plumber will be expected to maintain clear communication with the project manager and clients, and to work on a variety of projects including new construction, renovations, and routine maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Based out of North Shore, Burnaby or Vancouver
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential, new construction (custom-built homes) plumbing.
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair work
- Ability to interpret blueprints and building codes
- Effective communication with project managers, clients, and on-site trades
- Experience with gas fitting (asset)
- Physically able to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Backflow Certification (asset)
- Solid plan to gain your Red Seal and Gas Fitter Certification
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
