Experience: 3+ years in Asian Fusion cuisine (preferred)

About the Role
Bench Bistro is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role focuses on Asian Fusion cuisine with an emphasis on grilled specialties, including authentic Persian kebabs. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes while upholding the highest standards of food safety, consistency, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a variety of Asian Fusion and grilled dishes, including Persian kebabs
- Ensure all food is prepared and held in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Accurately cut, portion, marinate, and skewer meats and vegetables
- Grill, braise, and finish dishes with consistency and attention to detail
- Monitor ingredient freshness and maintain proper food storage standards
- Label, date, and rotate inventory following food safety guidelines
- Complete daily food safety and quality control logs
- Operate kitchen equipment including flat-top grill, charbroiler, and deep fryer
- Maintain consistent portion control and presentation standards
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
- Support front-of-house service when needed, including guest interaction
