Job Description
- Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
- Prepare meals and support nutritional needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean environment.
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior.
- Support medication reminders (non‑clinical).
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification as HCA, PSW, or equivalent (preferred).
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Experience in caregiving, home care, or support work.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (asset).
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends.
- Living in Calgary
