We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Drywall Hanger to join our construction team. The Drywall Hanger will measure, cut, position, and secure drywall panels on residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate has experience with drywall installation, understands construction safety practices, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings
- Install drywall sheets using hand tools and power tools
- Secure panels to metal or wooden framing
- Patch, trim, and prepare drywall for finishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades
Qualifications
- Previous drywall hanging or construction experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
- Familiarity with drywall tools and equipment
- Ability to work at heights and on ladders or scaffolding
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50–100 lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and overhead work
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
