Join the dynamic Lassonde Snacks team based in British Columbia, reporting to the Director of Sales – Snacks USA. This role is responsible for grocery sales of branded snacks in the US by seeking and developing new business, retaining and reviewing current business, and managing the broker by providing tools and expertise to meet and exceed sales targets and profitability.

Key activities
Work alongside Marketing to maximize product offerings, SKU portfolio and on-shelf presence, leveraging POS sales tools for presentations.
Increase overall awareness and exposure to our branded products throughout the US customer base.
Deliver against volume, distribution and ACV targets.
Management of day-to-day Broker Team:
Conduct quarterly broker reviews – key account plan execution.
Meet sales and trade spend targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Serve as a primary contact for clients, communicate effectively with internal teams, and provide regular updates on account performance.
Address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
Manage in-store promotion plans.
Account Management:
Manage a portfolio of accounts, understand their needs and challenges, and develop strategies to grow the accounts.
Implement account strategies to achieve long-term growth and profitability.
Work to upsell, cross-sell, and retain existing clients to achieve sales targets.
Execute annual business plan and gain customer acceptance of its contents/direction.
Maximize profitable sales within budget by seeking new customers and retaining existing.
Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis:
Track account performance, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
Travel:
Develop U.S. Grocery industry relationships – attend events in person.
Attend Trade Shows in person.
Average travel is estimated at every six to eight weeks.
Required training and experience
Bachelor of Commerce or Diploma equivalent.
3-5 years of sales experience in consumer packed goods.
Experience in the US market is considered an asset.
